 | Summer Series begins June 24 |
Our 2007 summer sermon series will be entitled: "Are you there? ... Its me, God." I hope this will remind you how the Lord sought after Adam and Eve in the garden in Genesis 3, despite their sin and shame — He is still looking for us today, in spite of our junk, because he desires relationship with us. How good is that!
The theme for this series is to know Him better, as expressed in Ephesians 1:17-19: "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe." ©NIV (emphasis added)

Be captivated afresh by the love our Father has for us...Our goal with this series is to explore the attributes of God in a way that demonstrates both the awe God deserves and the intimacy He craves to have with us. Please pray for our speakers and for our entire community to be captivated afresh by the love our Father has for us, the grace and genius of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the presence and empowering fellowship of the Spirit. May we receive the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. May we know our Glorious Father more deeply. May we be set on fire by the idea of apprenticing to Jesus. May we live in His incomparably great power!
