How do I become a member of the church? |
|
Individuals are required to attend a New Members Class, offered once per quarter. Those completing the class do not necessarily have to join the church, so it can serve as an introduction for those considering membership, as well as a membership step for those who have already decided to join.
Watch for bulletin notices of membership opportunities. For other requirements, talk to a Pastor, your assigned Elder or the Membership Deacon/Deaconess.
Statement:
The ministry of the church is the work of every member. Members are expected to pursue growth in their relationship with Christ, identify and use their spiritual gifts for the benefit of others, participate regularly in the life of the church, and support the work of the church through a biblical pattern of giving. We encourage people who have salvation in Christ and have found a home in Mariemont Community Church to formally join the church as members.
