MCC WEDDING POLICY

Pastor's Letter — Please read "Welcome to the Wedding ministry of MCC."

Eligibility — Because requests for use of the chapel exceed capacity, members of MCC, regular attendees, and their families receive priority. We desire to serve residents of the Village of Mariemont, as well as former residents and members, as capacity allows.

Premarital Counseling — Marital satisfaction and longevity are greatest for couples who purposefully prepare for marriage. For this reason, we ask couples to complete a four to six month, comprehensive marriage preparation process. (See Pastor's letter for details.) Dates for chapel use should be planned accordingly.

Premarital Purity — God instituted marriage as a committed relationship between one man and one woman. It is the only relationship in which sex was intended to be enjoyed. For this reason, we ask that couples abstain from sexual activity until their wedding day.

Wedding Ceremony — MCC pastors officiate at weddings in the Chapel unless other arrangements are approved. Your officiating pastor will meet with you to help plan your ceremony and approve all service details.

Scheduling — Weddings are scheduled by the church administrator once all paperwork and deposits are received. Please observe arrival, set-up and cleaning times. Another wedding or event may be scheduled on the same day.
