Fellowship Lunch Coordinator - We are seeking someone to coordinate churchwide Sunday potluck lunches on a monthly or quarterly schedule. The goal is to provide another opportunity to enjoy each other’s company and to make new friends! These Sunday lunches will replace our Wednesday night dinners which have become increasingly difficult for many busy families to attend. Interested? Contact Lois Barbro at 271-4376, x101, or Joy Norman. Nursery Volunteers Needed - Please prayerfully consider volunteering in the nursery this fall during the worship service. Pastor Dennis will be giving his sermon during the Sunday school hour, so you won’t miss out if you are volunteering. We’d like a rotation of workers so you might serve once every 8 weeks or so. We also need teen volunteers and substitutes. Please drop a note in the offering box, call the office, or contact Cheri Hawkins, if you can help. Preschool Service Day – Saturday, August 19, from 9:00a to Noon, we’re having a service day for the Preschool. If you would like to help with light cleaning and painting, feel free to join others. We’ll have some of the youth group, preschool staff and MCC. Pizza and drinks will be provided at noon. If you have any questions or would like to help, please contact Renee Hammond at 271-2260. |

Website Content Managers You can do this - it's not technical! In this outreach ministry, you won't just post bulletins about what's going on in a ministry at MCC. You'll also seek out personal stories, relevant resources, and bring your personal energy to each ministry. If your gift is communication, if your passions are for the seeker, then you will find joy using the website as a tool to reach MCC's virtual church. Prayerfully consider if this is your niche'. To express interest, contact us, or one of the following to express interest in supporting an area's website content:
What you need: - One to two hours a month
- Access to a high-speed Internet connection from your home
- Windows compatible computer with Internet Explorer 6.0+

"Technicians" are needed to brew our Sunday coffee. Our large brewer makes it easy and quick - all the coffee we need can be brewed in about 30 minutes. This person would also be available in the lobby to make sure the lobby looks sharp and fresh, needed supplies are replenished, and to clean up after the second service. Several volunteers would make the commitment only once every 4 - 6 weeks. This is a great opportunity for you to help us put "our best foot forward" each week. Contact: Gifted Service |

FIT is our First Impressions Team. FIT is a ministry vital to our church as we seek to make ourselves welcoming on Sunday mornings to our neighbors and new friends. We have all enjoyed the hospitality of our First Impressions Team, whether it is getting a warm greeting as we enter on Sunday mornings or enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. Most importantly, our visitors are not only enjoy a greeting and cup of coffee, but are oriented to the building, directed to children's classes, and given a loaf of Loretta Miller's home-baked bread! If you are interested in discussing these positions or have other ideas about our FIT ministry, please contact Joy Norman. Here are some service opportunities available in our FIT ministry: MCC'S GREATEST COFFEE LOVER - We are looking for someone to oversee the Sunday morning coffee. You would schedule weekly "coffee technicians" and order supplies. Our coffee supplier offers a wide variety of flavors and blends. This would not require a huge commitment of time, but there are great rewards!
