Dinner and a Movie with a Purpose

This Friday, 3/7, MCC is hosting Dinner and a Movie with a Purpose.
The dinner will be South African beef stew with accompaniments just as you'd find in South African buffets in the Soweto Townships of Johannesburg. The movie will be Beat the Drum, an award winning feature film that covers the complexities of the HIV/AIDS issue, yet with a note of optimism. Dinner guests will be Victor Khumalo and Angie Diale, South African colleagues of Zeke Swift in the MCC-supported Southern African HIV-AIDS Collaboration (SAHAC).
Dinner will be served at 6:30 P.M. from the Parish Center kitchen. Angie and Victor will be available for discussion at the end of the film.
