Joy Norman joined the staff in December 2004. She has a master's degree in Museum Education from George Washington University and is currently
taking classes at Trinity seminary. Joy became interested in museums while growing up in historic Savannah, Georgia. Her professional
experience includes a variety of jobs in the museum field, including administering the museum accreditation program at the American Association of Museums in Washington, D.C. and serving as director of the Ohio Museums Association. She has also been a homeschool mom, a
devoted school volunteer, and an avid gardener. Joy and her husband, Mark, have been married for over 25 years and are the parents of a son and
daughter. They have enjoyed being active participants in the life and ministry of Mariemont Church since 1983.
