You're One Step Away from the Adventure of Your Life. Deep within you lies the same faith and longing that sent Peter walking across the wind-swept Sea of Galilee toward Jesus. In what ways is the Lord telling you, as he did Peter, "Come"?
John Ortberg invites you to consider the incredible potential that awaits you outside your comfort zone. Out on the risky waters of faith, Jesus is waiting to meet you in ways that will change you forever, deepening your character and your trust in God. The experience is terrifying. It's thrilling beyond belief. It's everything you'd expect of someone worthy to be called Lord. The choice is yours to know him as only a water-walker can, aligning yourself with God's purpose for your life in the process. There's just one requirement: If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat.

May 4 at 9a, we'll begin an 18-week walk through the roughly 50
things Jesus
expressly taught his followers to do. However, the focus will not be on what,
but how. Here's an opportunity to enter into the climax of the great
commission, "teaching them to
observe all that I have commanded you," personally and as preparation
to teach others. Join us
each Sunday at Dale Park Middle School, lower level ... You'll be glad
you did.
For more information, contact Zeke Swift, Mike Cambron or John Cofskey.

Come be refreshed at
The Well
Wednesdays, 7-8p
Parish Center Lounge |
MCC's Wednesday evening gathering is changing. The Well is a time to be refreshed through worship and the Word. Each week, we'll focus on a prayer from scripture as we worship and pray together. There's freedom to pray out loud or silently, or just to rest in His presence. Bring your personal prayer needs as well. We'll have a time of ministry at the end. Leaders are available to pray with you for healing and other needs in your life.

Twenty Lives That Reveal a Touch of Eternity
"The exchanged life." Hudson Taylor first used the term to describe what it means to know Christ as our sufficiency in all things. Taylor is but one of the many Christian luminaries who have discovered Christ as the secret to abundant living. John Bunyan, Andrew Murray, Amy Carmichael, Oswald Chambers, Charles Finney-behind the varied lives and personalities of these and other men and women lies a common theme, a pattern that leads from desperation to the abundant life Jesus promised.
